MANILA, Philippines — Tributes from celebrity friends and artists poured in for actress Michelle Trachtenberg, who died on Wednesday, February 26 (Thursday, February 27, Manila time).

“My heart is heavy today. We have lost a beautiful soul. Michelle was fiercely intelligent, howlingly funny, and a very talented person. She died much too young, and leaves behind scores of people who knew and loved her. My heart goes out to her family who are good people, and are suffering the greatest loss anyone could bear. I hope everyone can give them space to heal in this most difficult time,’ Marsters shared. 

Melissa Gilbert, who co-starred with Trachtenberg in the 1996 TV movie A Holiday for Love, shared her tribute on Instagram sharing, “Oh Michy…and we lived so close to one another…..my heart aches for your family and all those who loved you so…” and posted a photo of them on set. 

Trachtenberg’s career spanned decades, with her breakout role in Harriet the Spy. She went on to star in films such as EuroTrip and Ice Princess.
