Over the years, we’ve had all kinds of LEGO builds recreating iconic moments from the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchises. We just can’t seem to ever get enough of those rampaging dinosaurs, even in brick form. Now, the folks at LEGO and Universal Pictures have revealed the new Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex (T. rex) set. This one is the largest LEGO Jurassic World set made thus far. It features a detailed T. rex fossil skeleton, over 1m (more than 3 feet) in length. You can check out the first images of the new 3,145-piece LEGO set down below in our gallery.
This new LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils set showcases several articulated joints. Among them, a movable head, a jaw that opens and closes, and posable arms and tail. All of these allow for customizable displays. This latest Jurassic World set also includes a display stand, and an information plaque. There are also several hidden Easter eggs from across the 30 years of the Jurassic Park franchise, like the infamous amber piece. In addition, two of the franchise’s most iconic film characters will appear in Minifigure form for this set. Welcome Dr. Ellie Sattler and Dr. Alan Grant, famously played by Laura Dern and Sam Neill.

This new Jurassic World set also comes with coffee-table-style instructions, which include several fascinating design details, as well as highlights from the various films. It even has some fascinating T. rex dinosaur facts. LEGO fans can further enhance their experience with the LEGO Builder app. The LEGO Jurassic World Dinosaur Fossils: Tyrannosaurus rex set is available for LEGO Insiders early access starting on March 12 at this link, and also via the LEGO Stores, available for all from March 15.
