Drake trolled by FaZe Lacy after drone sneaks up on rapper in viral video

After netizens thought Drake staged his ‘girly’ throw towards a flying drone, FaZe Lacy trolled the rapper by recreating the viral video.

While ‘NWTS’ rapper Drake was inside his penthouse in Sydney, Australia, located on the top floor, a drone hovered above his patio.

As the drone came closer, Drake reached behind his door to retrieve a bright orange flip-flop, throwing it at the flying recording device.

Footage of the happenstance instantly went viral, with netizens trolling Drake for his shoe-throwing form, as it didn’t even come close to striking the drone.

“0% accuracy,” wrote one person on X.

“Zesty ass throw,” added another.

Users on X have already started using memes to dunk on his throwing skills (or lack thereof).

Some viewers also suggested that Drake staged the scene, as his inaccuracy was too embarrassing to seem real. Others added that his apparent shock wasn’t a natural reaction.

FaZe Lacy recreates viral Drake video

With so much backlash, FaZe Lacy decided to join in on the foolery and recreate the rapper’s video. During the clip, Lacy had his laptop set up on an outdoor table, similar to the way Drake did. The FaZe Clan member acted surprised to see the drone as he purposely missed it with his sandal.

“How’d he manage to make it more zesty?” asked a viewer.

“Lacy on another level of glazing at this point,” wrote another.

Apart from making fun of Drake for what fans think is a ‘fake’ drone video, the rapper has been on the receiving end of even more scrutiny since his feud with Kendrick Lamar.

The beef between the rappers has become a moment in time, with some celebrities and influencers having made their opinions on the matter known to the public.

Twitch streamer Kai Cenat revealed in January that Drake blocked him after he dissed his track via livestream. Cenat added that although fans likely thought he was on Drake’s side of the battle, he actually thought Lamar outperformed his rival.
