Anthony Reeves cleared the air two years after his breakup with Avani, leaving fans with their questions finally answered.
TikToker Anthony ‘LuvAnthony’ Reeves and his ex-girlfriend broke up in November 2022. At the time, there was a rumor about Reeves having cheated on Avani. With it lingering over the TikToker’s consciousness, he finally took to the platform to explain his side of the story.
“This is long overdue, just kind of clearing the air and the accusations of me being a cheater,” Reeves began. “I still get comments, I just decided not to speak up for some reason.”
Reeves expressed that it was a “mutual breakup” after Avani texted him to say they should focus on themselves. Adding, “A few months before our breakup, we tended to argue about silly things, it was nothing bad. That kind of just led to the breakup.”
He then dove into the cheating accusations that popped up after a photo of him kissing a girl surfaced around the time he and Avani ended things.

“About three to four days after that [the breakup], Josh [Richards] decided to fly me out to Canada to help me get my mind off things. Near the end of the trip, we ended up going to a club. Near the end of the night, me and this girl were talking and we were dancing for a few minutes. And, we end up kissing for about three to four seconds.
“Within those three to four seconds, somebody snapped a picture and posted it online. Me and Avani hadn’t publicly announced that we were broken up, so the whole world decided to bash me and call me a cheater.”

Though Avani blocked Reeves after he told her what happened, the TikToker said he “completely” understood why she had to stop communicating with him.
Nonetheless, after dating for four years, Reeves said Avani was “absolutely a sweetheart” and one of the best girls he’s ever known.
Those who followed Reeves and Avani’s relationship were excited to finally hear the TikToker’s story. Some fans said he never deserved the hate, others agreed that he didn’t need to explain himself, though they were glad to know what really happened.
In January of this year, another influencer, Nmplol, went through a public breakup. After his wife Malena Tudi filed for a divorce, he filed a response two weeks later. Prior to their separation, the Twitch streamer told his fans he and Tudi were parting ways due to having “different goals.”
