Beyond the Gates Gets Support from Young and the Restless and Days of Our Lives Stars

Beyond the Gates (BTG) spoilers suggest that fans should brace themselves for an explosive and historic premiere for the new soap, come Monday, February 24, airing on CBS at 2 p.m. ET.

In the meantime, the anticipation for the new daytime drama is hitting fever pitch, as fans, along with BTG’s cast and executive team continue to create buzz on social media.

But how do the other soaps currently on the air feel about some healthy competition headed their way?

Soaps.com recently shared a video on their Instagram handle with a variety of interviews from both Young and the Restless (Y&R) and Days of Our Lives (DOOL) stars.

From the sounds of it, everyone within the daytime drama industry is onboard with the new soap.

Sean Dominic (Y&R’s Nate Hastings) was the first to comment within the video, extending his ‘kudos’ to BTG, with best wishes for the soap to ‘rock out’.

He also added that he’s excited to see the cast, as there may be some familiar faces he knows.

In addition, as the Y&R is the sister-show of BTG, both airing on CBS, he also teased about possible crossovers! That would be fun, right?

Meanwhile, DOOL’s Stephen Nichols (Steve Johnson) reminds fans in the video that BTG’s Creator, Michele Val Jean, wrote for him at General Hospital (GH) during his stint as Stefan Cassadine.

Nichols adds that Val Jean is a great writer, and he’s very excited about the new soap.

Y&R’s Jason Thompson (Billy Abbott) chimes in, stating he believes BTG’s debut is ‘fantastic’.

He goes on to say, that he lends his support toward the new show starting from scratch within the land of daytime drama – an industry some believed was slowly down but clearly is not – which is ‘incredible’.

In addition, Thompson’s co-star, Loren Lott (Ana Hamilton) adds her perspective, noting that it feels great to see a Black-centric soap hit daytime and how it reveals the amazing progress made in the world of soaps.

Next in the video, Days’ Colton Little (Andrew Donovan) is excited to see BTG’s amazingly diverse and beautiful cast at work.

He also gives a shout-out to DOOL alum, Mike Manning, who once played Charlie Dale on Days, but now is set to play Bradley “Smitty” Smith on BTG.

Little adds, ‘the more the merrier’ when it comes to daytime drama shows, noting the “more ways soaps can live on – it’s going to be incredible!”

Little’s DOOL co-stars, Martha Madison (Belle Black) and Brandon Beemer (Shawn-Douglas Brady) collectively agree on BTG’s ‘great team’.

Madison acknowledges that the new soap has some of daytime’s biggest producers and writers, and she thinks things will ‘go well’ for them.

Lastly, Y&R’s Zuleyka Silvers (Audra Charles) closes the video by noting that BTG’s debut is ‘great’, stating as CBS has picked up another daytime drama, soaps aren’t going anywhere!

Beyond the Gates spoilers imply there’s a ton of excitement around the show’s ground-breaking premiere, so it’ll be interesting to see how fans and the soap industry receive it, once it hits the airwaves.
