Today, genre-defying Korean-American singer and rapper Audrey Nuna unveils the ‘Mine’ remixes bundle, featuring two strikingly different yet equally dancefloor-ready versions of her hit single. Out now via Arista Records, the remixes see the rising star teaming up with Channel Tres and DASH to reimagine her 2024 track ‘Mine,’ a modern flip of Brandy and Monica’s iconic 1998 R&B hit, ‘The Boy Is Mine.’
For his remix, Channel Tres infuses the track with his funky, house-infused grooves, elevating Audrey’s delivery with an airy, feel-good energy. The result is a club-ready rework that taps into the light and playful elements of the original while maintaining its hypnotic allure. In contrast, DASH takes the song into darker territory, crafting a cinematic, trance-heavy remix that twists and manipulates Audrey’s vocals into something almost otherworldly. With its deep bass and shadowy textures, the DASH remix offers a striking juxtaposition to Channel Tres’ sunlit take, proving the versatility of the track’s foundation.
Audrey says:
“As a fan of both producer-artists, I love how polar opposite these remixes are. I’ve respected and enjoyed Channel Tres’ work since college, so collaborating with him on this was refreshing and intriguing. Hearing ‘Mine’ within such a different sonic palette with DASH’s surreal, dark remix has been equally energizing. Both remixes bring such newness to the song, and it’s been such a fascinating experience for me to hear the process of these coming to life.”
The ‘Mine’ remixes arrive as Audrey Nuna continues to ride the momentum of her sophomore album TRENCH, an ambitious project that pushes the boundaries of pop, R&B, and experimental trap.
