As It Is Share New Version Of 'Sorry' With Yours Truly's Mikaila Delgado

As It Is have unveiled their updated version of ‘Sorry’, featuring Yours Truly vocalist Mikaila Delgado.

Taken from ‘Never Happy, Ever After X’, a tenth anniversary re-recording of the band’s debut album, it follows the release of ‘Dial Tones’ featuring Holding Absence vocalist Lucas Woodland.

Speaking on their collaboration with Mikaila Delgado on the track, the band have shared:

“‘Sorry’ was the first song we wrote for Never Happy, Ever After back in early 2014. We even played it live a handful of times before we recorded it and released it the following year. ‘Sorry’ wouldn’t have sounded out of place on an early As It Is EP, and we were kind of able to write the rest of the record around it, in a way.

“It was never a single, but it was a fan favourite, a great live moment in the set, and its lyrics titled the record, so it’s always been a special song for the band and the album. Now, it’s getting its flowers, and the extraordinarily talented Mikaila Delgado brings so much to this track. Spending the afternoon in the studio with Mik, beaming while she sang these unreal runs and harmonies, it was an absolute blast. We’re so proud of this one and incredibly excited to be sharing another piece of the NHEAX puzzle.”
