The weeks ahead will mark the end of a seminal chapter for Anyma, the Italian techno superstar who made history by headlining the first-ever electronic music residency at the iconic Vegas Sphere.
The Afterlife co-founder has now opened up about his unprecedented residency as it nears its “bittersweet” end. Anyma, who is typically laconic on social media, took to Instagram to reflect on what he called the “most difficult and fulfilling challenge” of his life.
“3 years ago I set out hoping to realize my vision of a transcendental world, one you can travel through and experience unlike anything, anywhere else,” Anyma wrote. “From nothing more than a concept that I’d hope to share one day to this… the final shows at @sphere.”
“I cannot lie and say it isn’t bittersweet but I’m most proud knowing we’re finally touching the future of live experiences. Our new mixed media medium is more than anything I could have hoped for when originally starting Anyma.”

Anyma’s immersive shows at the Sphere have effectively redefined live electronic music performances. Whether the genre will maintain its foothold at the record-breaking venue remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: his residency has set a high bar, not just for EDM, but for the entertainment industry at large.
After an eight-show engagement, he’s now set to return to the Sphere from February 27-28 and March 1-2. The final four concerts will feature “new music, visuals and special guests,” according to Anyma, as well as supporting DJ sets from John Summit, Solomun, Cassian, Peggy Gou and more.
