Saba Tackles the "Woes of the World" on New Song with No ID

Saba and No ID are back with their new song, “Woes of the World,” the latest preview of their upcoming joint album, From the Private Collection of Saba and No ID. Stream it below.

Over a swirling beat from No ID, Saba vents about the current state of hip-hop while vowing to lead the next generation to the light. “Is it coincidence if these lil n****s sound similar/ We just assembly lined it,” he raps. “It never ends, so this year I thought maybe I’d be the one to guide it.”

One of the most anticipated albums of 2025, From the Private Collection was first teased as a mixtape in 2023 with the singles “Back in Office” and “hue_man nature.” However, the death of Saba’s uncle inspired him to take a pause, and the duo went back to the drawing board to emerge with an album more layered than before.

“He’s the person who made me fall in love with hip-hop,” the rapper explained in a statement. “It made me want to re-approach things; I had to have a lot of conversations with myself that I hadn’t had to have in a long time.”

“Woes of the World” follows last year’s “How to Impress God.” From the Private Collection doesn’t have an official release date yet, but a press release says it’s “out soon.”
