RØRY has given us some insight into the inspiration behind her debut album ‘Restoration’.
The record is at No.4 in the UK’s midweek album chart and in her Rock Sound magazine cover story, she opened up about the underlying themes and the meaning behind the title.
She says “The whole thing came from a dream where I heard a voice say ‘Everything you lost will be restored’. I’m the type of insane that thinks, ‘Oh, lovely. That’s the voice of God. I guess I’m going to make that my entire personality’. I did that, and it worked. Everything I lost has been restored, from my music career to my personal life, my mental health, sobriety, and old friendships. I knew that the album was going to be called ‘Restoration’ for a long time, and when you have a word with that kind of power it runs through the writing too.”
