My Morning Jacket stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday night to perform “Time Waited,” the lead single off their upcoming album is.
Built on a lovely piano line and a warm two-chord groove, “Time Waited” is an idyllic turn from My Morning Jacket. They keep their performance faithful to the single, which arrived last month as the first offering from is. My Morning Jacket will be releasing is, their 10th studio album, on March 21st. They worked on the record with rock producer Brendan O’Brien, who has helmed albums from Rage Against the Machine, AC/DC, Bruce Springsteen, Soundgarden, and more. We named the upcoming LP as one of our most anticipated albums of 2025.
While the quintet has not shared any extensive tour dates yet in support of their new album, they do have two festival shows currently on the docket for 2025. They’ll be reprising their One Big Holiday festival on April 3rd-5th in Miramar Beach, Florida alongside Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Devon Gilfillian, Dinosaur Jr., S.G. Goodman, and more. My Morning Jacket will also play New Orleans Jazz Fest this year on May 4th.
