In a crossover no one could have predicted, a song from Final Fantasy VII‘s soundtrack made it to Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week runway, thanks to Pharrell Williams. “One-Winged Angel” played as stoic models walked the runway on Jan 22. Below is the live stream of the entire show.

The runway show displayed the Paris fashion house’s new Fall-Winter men’s collection for 2025. “One-Winged Angel” from the game was one of four different tracks used during the show. The song acts as Sephiroth’s theme, who is the main antagonist in the video game. Composed by Nobuo Uematsu, “One-Winged Angel” plays during the player’s final battle with Sephiroth and is a combination of styles from Russian composer Igor Stravinsky and rock legend Jimi Hendrix.

The original song in the game has Latin lyrics, but the section used during the show was instrumental and preformed by a live orchestra. L’Orchestre du Pont Neuf did the live rendition of the song with Thomas Roussel arranging & orchestrating the song. Final Fantasy’s twitter account even thanked Pharrell for including the song in the runway show.

Another track featured included “Bad Influence,” which popular K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN sang and Pharrell produced. Additionally, “Timeless” by The Weeknd & rapper Playboi Carti was played during the show. Pharrell was a writer and producer for the song. The final song of the show was a collaboration between Don Toliver and J-Hope from the band BTS. It’s fittingly titled “LV Bag,” which Pharrell also produced.
