A new promo shared by Grammys organizers confirms Taylor Swift and Beyoncé, as well as a special guest, will be in attendance at this year’s event.
The 68th Grammy Awards are right around the corner on February 2, with Trevor Noah hosting for the fifth consecutive time. Now, event organizers have confirmed that Beyoncé and Taylor Swift will be in attendance, as well as “a very special guest.” Other musicians confirmed to be in attendance include Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter.
Beyoncé is looking at 11 nominations at this year’s Grammys, making her the most nominated artist in the history of the show. She was previously tied with her husband, Jay-Z, for a total of 88 nominations. But that total has now increased to 90. The artist broke the record for most Grammy wins of all time in 2023, with 32 awards to her name.
Taylor Swift is up for Record of the Year and Song of the Year, as well as Album of the Year, and Best Pop Vocal Album. Joining both Swift and Bey as nominees for Album of the Year are Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, and Sabrina Carpenter.
Other noms include RAYE for Best New Artist and Songwriter of the Year, as well as Shakira, Teddy Swims, and Benson Boone. Performers confirmed include Billie Eilish, Doechii, RAYE, Shakira, Teddy Swims, and Benson Boone.
Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. confirmed the Grammys will proceed as planned despite the horrific wildfires that have ravaged Los Angeles this month. But the event will double as a fundraising event, on the heels of the Recording Academy and MusiCares launching the Los Angeles Fire Relief Effort and donating $1 million to the cause.
The 68th Grammy Awards take place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on February 2. It will be broadcast live on CBS, and available to stream on Paramount+ starting at 8 PM ET / 5 PM PT.
