NICOLE Kidman has been snubbed by the Oscars after failing to get a nomination for her role in Babygirl.
The actress, 57, plays the role of a high-powered CEO who risks her career when she begins a steamy affair with her much younger intern in the erotic thriller.
Fans are fuming after the Oscar nominees were unveiled, with Babygirl left out in the cold as Nicole failed to get nominated for her performance in the flick.
“Nicole Kidman snubbed for her ‘Babygirl’ performance at the #Oscars,” an X account posted after the nominations came out today.
Fans were quick to react, with one person writing: “Omg NOOOOOO.”
Another added: “Nicole Kidman delivers a career-defining performance in Babygirl—yet no Oscar nod? Some snubs just don’t make sense.”
“It’s crazy how she went from the front runner to not even being nominated,” penned a third.
A fourth then said: “The Academy snubs Nicole Kidman for yet another bold and daring performance.
“Adding Babygirl to the long list that includes birth, the paperboy, to die for, destroyer, dogville, eyes wide shut, and the list goes on and on.”
And a fifth added: “Thank you Nicole Kidman for being so fearless and vulnerable in babygirl I love you always and you will always be my best actress.”
DIVIDED OPINIONS
But not everyone was in agreement, with one writing: “Be serious now that movie is not Oscar worthy, great performance by Nicole Kidman tho.”
And another saying: “I wouldn’t say snubbed… I would say it wasn’t good enough to get nominated.”
Meanwhile, Cynthia Erivo received a nomination for best actress for Wicked, as did Mikey Madison in Anora and Fernanda Torres for I’m Still Here.
Karla Sofía Gascón for her role in Emilia Pérez also nabbed a nomination, as did Demi Moore for her leading role in The Substance.
This snub comes after Nicole won the best actress gong at the Venice Film Festival, before nabbing the same title at the National Board of Review.
She was also snubbed for her performance in Babygirl at the Screen Actors Guild and BAFTAs.

NICOLE ON SHOOTING BABYGIRL
Speaking about the shooting of the movie previously, Nicole said: “There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration.
“It’s like, don’t touch me. There were times when we were shooting where I was like, I don’t want to orgasm any more. Don’t come near me. I hate doing this.
“I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life!
“I’m over it. It was so present all the time for me that it was almost like a burnout.”
NICOLE’S OUTING WITH DAUGHTER
This comes after Nicole stepped out with her young daughter last month.
Nicole and her 13-year-old daughter attended The Hollywood Reporter’s Annual Women in Entertainment Gala at The Beverly Hills Hotel together.
Faith, 13, is the daughter of Nicole Kidman and her country singer husband Keith Urban.
Attending the event in California with her mom, Faith looked great in a sweet ensemble as she stood with the Big Little Lies star.
Nicole shares daughters Faith and Sunday Rose, 16, with husband Keith.
Faith and Sunday Rose aren’t Nicole’s only children though, because she shares daughter Bella, 31, and son Connor, 29, with her ex Tom Cruise.
