Bright Eyes have shared details of an extensive UK/Ireland and European tour set for summer.
The indie-rock outfit will kick-off their run in Nottingham on June 16 before dates in Bristol, Leeds, Manchester and the rest of the UK, and a stop at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
From there, the band are set for dates across Europe, including Berlin, Amsterdam and Barcelona.
Their European dates conclude with appearances at Madrid’s Mad Cool Festival and Lisbon’s NOS Festival.
Tickets for the new shows go on sale from 10am this Friday, January 24, with pre-sale beginning today (Wednesday, 22 January).
The forthcoming tour is of course in support of the band’s latest album, ‘Five Dice, All Threes’, which arrived in September, and which the band spoke to Rock Sound about in an in-depth interview.
Incidentally, this weekend also marks the 20th anniversary of Bright Eyes’ pair of seminal albums – ‘I’m Wide Awake, It’s Morning’ and ‘Digital Ash in a Digital Urn’ – originally released on January 25, 2005.
