The Maine Drop Surprise New Album ‘Dyed’

The Maine Share Summer Anthem 'Touch'

Ahead of their annual 8123 festival, The Maine have just dropped a surprise new album – ‘Dyed (2008-2023)’.

The release features nine new songs, each of which began as a demo from a previous album era. The record was self-produced by frontman John O’Callaghan and is their first full-length release since their 2023 self-titled album.

On the new album, O’Callaghan says “Revisiting the past can stir up all sorts of feelings. Nostalgia, fondness, gratitude, and on and on and on. We felt everything in between when we uncovered these songs from over the last few decades, and sincerely hope they stir up anything of the sort for you while listening!”

Check out the album below and have a look at the artwork which brings in colour elements from all of the band’s previous eras:

The Maine will headline 8123 Fest at Mesa Amp on January 17 and 18. The festival also features performances from The Starting Line, Charlotte Sands, Hellogoodbye, Bad Suns and more.
