Coheed and Cambria and Taking Back Sunday are teaming up for a summer 2025 co-headlining North American tour, which will follow Coheed’s previously announced co-headlining spring outing with Mastodon. Coheed have also unveiled the new single “Someone Who Can” from their forthcoming album, The Father of Make Believe.
The summer tour, which will feature support from Foxing, kicks off August 16th in St. Louis, and runs through a September 21st show in Seattle. Along the way, Coheed and TBS will hit such cities as Minneapolis, Toronto, Boston, Atlanta, Dallas, and Los Angeles, among others.

A Live Nation pre-sale starts Wednesday (January 15th) at noon local time using the code OCTAVE, while a general on-sale begins Friday (January 17th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
As mentioned, Coheed and Cambria will hit the road with Mastodon this spring. That outing launches May 10th in Salem, Virginia, and runs through a June 8th concert in Waukee, Iowa, with tickets already available here.
Both runs will be in support of Coheed’s aforementioned LP, The Father of Make Believe (due March 14th), one of our Most Anticipated Metal & Hard Rock Albums of 2025. Meanwhile, Taking Back Sunday will be touring behind their latest album, 152, released in October 2023.
Fans can also catch Coheed along with Tool, Mastodon, Primus, Eagles of Death Metal, and more at the Tool in the Sand festival taking place March 7th-9th in the Dominican Republic. Furthermore, Coheed will headline their own S.S. Neverender cruise, featuring Thursday, L.S. Dunes, and more acts, in November.
Regarding the new single “Someone Who Can,” Coheed frontman Claudio Sanchez stated, “When you’re growing up, you’re perpetually trying to understand the world that’s changing around you. Over time, it’s comforting to reach the conclusion that you’ll never truly have things figured out.”
