Surprise! On Saturday, Jan. 11, Phish’s Mike Gordon and Joe Russo’s Almost Dead member Marco Benevento made an unannounced appearance at the newly reopened Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, N.Y., where they joined trio Medeki, Cline and Russo.

The move preluded Gordon’s Relix 50 appearance, slated for Wednesday, Jan. 15, with Tapers Choice and special musical guests Mikaela Davis, Scott Metzger, Stuart Bogie and Jordan McLean. Tickets remain on sale.
