The Fear have shared their second single, ‘Satellite’.
The new track comes fresh off the back of the band’s debut single ‘White Noise’, featuring Kellin Quinn, as well as their tour support of Alien Ant Farm.
Co-produced by The Fear drummer Benj Ashmead and David Radahd-Jones (whose credits include Amongst Liars and Cruel Knives), with additional production by Randy Slaugh and mixed by Grant Berry (who’s worked with Boston Manor and Stand Atlantic), the single is another emphatic statement from the Manchester band.
Have a listen to ‘Satellite’ via its video below, which was directed by the band’s creative collaborator Samuele Dean, and features several of their fans.
Speaking about the new track, and the process of making it, Ashmead says:
“‘Satellite’ was one of the first songs we wrote as a band, and it really set the tone for how naturally things can come together when the chemistry is right.”
“It has a more pop-influenced feel than the rest of the tracks we’ve been working on, and it was just so much fun to create.
“Mick’s [Micky Satiar, vocalist] voice shines on this one – he really nailed it in the studio.”
