‘Happy Gilmore 2’ trailer teases Bad Bunny and Travis Kelce cameos

Happy Gilmore 2 has teased its first official look. The movie is a sequel to the 1996 classic, starring Adam Sandler as a hockey player with a secret talent for golf, which he utilizes to make enough money and prevent the foreclosure of his grandmother’s house.

The sequel appears to be a star-studded affair, featuring Travis Kelce in the trailer’s opening seconds, welcoming back Sandler’s character into the world of golf. 

“It’s great to see you back, Mr. Gilmore,” says Kelce in the trailer. 

The clip shows many moments that have made fans of the original happy, including Gilmore playing golf with his beloved hockey jersey, and the reappearance of Gilmore’s nemesis, Shooter McGavin, played by Christopher McDonald. Bad Bunny is also featured in the clip, playing the role of Gilmore’s caddy and cheering him on as he plays.

Other newcomers joining the franchise include Margaret Qualley, Scott Mescudi, Benny Safdie, and more. Eminem will also be featured in the film, with Sandler revealing that he delivered a hilarious performance that was recorded in one day.

2025 is gonna be a big year for Bad Bunny. Aside from starring alongside Sandler, he’ll also be releasing a new record. 

He made the announcement on Instagram, sharing the title of the album, called “Debi Tirar Mas Fotos” which translates to “I should have taken more photos.” The record will be his sixth studio album and is made up of 17 songs and marks his first full-length release since October 2023, when he released “Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va A Pasar Manana.”

The announcement was made with a video, showing the Puerto Rican filmmaker Jacobo Morales discussing his life and career and his desire to have taken more photos. “I should have lived more, I should have loved more while I could,” he said. 

“Debi Tirar Mas Fotos” will be released this January 5th.
