A STAR from the hit movie Elf is now a proud grandfather.
The Mailroom Guy from the 2003 Christmas flick Elf is all grown up, despite his age being a confusing matter in the hit movie.
The classic American Christmas comedy film starring Will Ferrell as Buddy came out more than 20 years ago.
The film’s synopsis reads: “Buddy, a human, is raised amongst elves at the North Pole. When he discovers that he is not an elf, he travels to New York to search for his biological father.”
In the movie, when Buddy travels to New York from the North Pole, he gets a job in a mailroom working with a man only credited as Mailroom Guy, who tells him he’s 26 years old.
And now that “26-year-old” actor is a grandfather.

On Instagram, Mark Acheson, who played Mailroom Guy, can be seen posing with three generations of his family.
Standing with his two grandchildren and his son, Mark looked overjoyed and content to be standing with his family.
THE SCENE WAS ALMOST CUT
Acheson recently opened up about his stint in the Christmas classic movie.
The 67-year-old said that he was only supposed to have one line in the scene in which Buddy the Elf, but things soon took an unexpected turn when on set.
Director Jon Favreau then decided that he wanted Mark to improvise with Will.
During the mailroom scene, Mark’s character of Mailroom Guy turns to Will’s character of Buddy and reveals that he’s 26 years old and he’s “got nothing to show for it.”
“You’re young, you’re so young,” Buddy then responds.
The banter was then improvised and almost got cut, but the director was keen for it to stay.
“The producers wanted to axe the whole scene because of that. I think, ‘Who is gonna believe this guy is 26?’ I mean, seriously,” Mark told People in a recent chat.
“I believe I was 46 at the time and an older, 46 even at that. Because I never looked young in my life.”
