Ana de Armas is looking to become an even bigger star than she already is, as rumors indicate she’s in talks to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a role in the 2026 film Avengers: Doomsday. Avengers: Doomsday will be the first Avengers movie since Endgame in 2019 and will feature Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom.
While it’s nothing but a rumor at this stage, a marriage between Ana de Armas and Marvel Studios would certainly make sense: de Armas is 36 and in the prime of her career, while Marvel is surely desperate to bring the next generation of movie stars into the fold.
As for who de Armas would play in the MCU, some potential options are Mystique/Raven (taking over the mantle from Jennifer Lawrence and Rebecca Romijn before her), Cynthia or Valeria von Doom (the daughter of Doctor Doom), Madame Hydra, Spider-Woman, and Black Swan.

de Armas most recently starred in the Ron Howard-directed film Eden alongside the likes of Sydney Sweeney, Vanessa Kirby, Jude Law, and Daniel Bruhl. Despite premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, the film does not have an American distributor and therefore does not have a release date.
Next summer, de Armas will be starring as the lead character in the John Wick spinoff Ballerina, which hits theaters on June 6. de Armas will be starring as Eve Macarro, a ballerina who trains in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma. The film take places during the events of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4.
Alongside de Armas and Keanu Reeves as John Wick, Ballerina will also star Gabriel Byrne, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Norman Reedus, Anjelica Huston, Ian McShane, and Lance Reddick (in his final screen appearance). Check out the official trailer below.
