It’s the season finale of The Masked Singer!
The season 12 finale of the hit FOX mystery competition series aired on Wednesday night (December 18).
The show, which began in South Korea, features celebrities singing songs while wearing costumes and face masks concealing their identities until they’re eliminated. Throughout the season, the contestants provide clues to try and help the judges and fans figure out who is under the mask.
This season also features Ambassadors, who are all alums of the series, that have a special connection to each singer and will be providing major new clues about their friends’ identities.
During the episode, the Top Two – Wasp & Buffaloes – hit the stage for their final performances of the season.
While on stage, Wasp first performed “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars before performing “I’m Your Baby Tonight” by Whitney Houston.

OUR GUESS: Mario
Based on the clues, we believe that Mario is under the Wasp mask. Ne-Yo being Wasp‘s Ambassador makes sense since he wrote the hit song “Let Me Love You” for Mario. The R&B artist grew up in west Baltimore and was raised by his mother, who struggled with addiction. His mother passed away in 2017. Mario‘s self-titled debut album almost sold a million copies and he has toured the world. The clip of Mars can be a reference to Mario‘s most recent album titled Closer to Mars.
Mario has previously talked about not being close to his father while growing up, but they have re-connected over the years. The DNA clue can be a reference to his 2009 album D.N.A.
