Norwegian black metal pioneers Mayhem have been announced as the headliners for the 2025 “Decibel Magazine Tour,” spearheading a lineup that includes Mortiis, Imperial Triumphant, and New Skeletal Faces.
The spring North American trek kicks off March 17th in Atlanta and runs through April 17th in Austin, hitting major markets such as Chicago, New York City, Toronto, and Los Angeles.
A Live Nation ticket pre-sale for select dates begins Thursday (December 19th) at 10 a.m. local time using the code JOY. General ticket sales start Friday (December 20th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
“Following the success of last year’s tour with the legendary Cannibal Corpse, we are really looking forward to returning to North America to once again headline the renowned Decibel Tour, also hitting some cities we haven’t visited in a very long time,” Mayhem said in a collective statement via a press release. “We can’t wait to kick off the next chapter of Mayhem with our North American fans. See you all soon!”
News of the tour comes just over a month after Mayhem canceled their 40th anniversary North American fall tour — a six-show run that was booked for November. The band cited a medical emergency as the reason for the cancellation, but promised fans that that it had “something coming up next year that will make this up to those of you who have been disappointed by this news.”
