Sydney Sweeney is currently one of the most famous names in Hollywood after starring in blockbusters such as Once Upon a Time In Hollywood and hit shows such as Euphoria and White Lotus. And while Sweeney’s acting has earned her praise, it also doesn’t hurt that the 27-year-old Spokane, Washington native is drop dead gorgeous.
Sweeney isn’t afraid to flaunt her good looks, but she’s also discussed how uncomfortable it makes her at times the way people speak about her body. The latest controversy, if you can even call it that, surrounding Sweeney involves several men online realizing what women look like without makeup for the first time.
The New York Post recently shared pictures of Sweeney relaxing outside of her mansion in the Florida Keys while wearing a bikini. Sweeney, who appeared completely unaware that paparazzi were around, was just hanging out living her life, but rocking a look different from that which you’d see from her on the red carpet. Seems normal enough.
But because dudes often struggle to be normal around attractive women, especially those with fame and/or power, the story took on a life of its own.
“She’s a 6.8 at best in these pics,” one man on Twitter said.
“Meh is the highest compliment I can offer,” said another.
Sydney Sweeney Claps Back At Haters On Instagram Over Paparazzi Pic Criticism
Again, this is what happens when you let weird dudes say whatever they want on the internet. But Sweeney didn’t just sit back and let people trash her.
She took to Instagram and posted a video of all the ridiculous comments before transitioning to videos of herself working out for her upcoming role in an upcoming untitled movie where she’s set to portray boxer Christy Martin.
“You’re such a bada–.This movie is gonna be 🔥,” friend and multiple-time co-star Glen Powell said in the comments.
Now, listen, standards of beauty are different for everyone. But if you’re trying s— talk Sydney Sweeney of all people, you’re either a huge dork or you likely just don’t like women all that much.
