Electronic duo A.M. Architect sets the stage for their forthcoming album Avenir with the release of its atmospheric title track, a vivid exploration of self-reflection and growth featuring vocalist Delenda.
Built on a lush electronic backdrop, the track is elevated by Delenda’s evocative vocals, weaving a narrative of reconciling past and present versions of oneself. True to their ethos of blending art and technology, the accompanying music video employs responsive video networks to mirror the song’s themes visually. This interactivity reflects the group’s multidisciplinary approach, showcasing their commitment to creating experiences beyond the traditional confines of music.
Daniel Stanush explains:
“In creating the music video for Avenir, we were inspired by the lyrics written by our collaborator Delenda. We were interested in the relationships between different versions of ourselves: the person you used to be, as seen through your current self, or vice versa… Graphically, we wanted to present a dissonance between our self-perspectives, and allow them to evolve and blend together.”
With its intricate production and thematic depth, ‘Avenir’ offers a compelling glimpse into A.M. Architect’s evolving sound and artistic vision, setting a high bar for the upcoming album.
