Live Nation is set to launch its first music venue in Southeast Asia with support from the Singapore Tourism Board. The 3,000-seat music hall will feature multiple rooms and stages for both local artists and international touring acts.

The venue will quickly become an asset to the community with a cafe and bar that can be utilized as a smaller event space, transforming the venue into a dynamic hub for live entertainment. Live Nation will leverage its unparalleled global experience to operate the venue at the highest standards, creating significant local employment opportunities and contributing to Singapore’s economic growth.

“It is exciting to see Live Nation and LREIT’s commitment to developing the Grange Road event space as Asia’s first flagship entertainment venue along the iconic Orchard Road,” adds Jean Ng, Assistant Chief Executive, Experience Development Group, Singapore Tourism Board. “This initiative will contribute significantly to the ongoing rejuvenation of Orchard Road, expand the lifestyle offerings in the precinct and boost its attractiveness to locals and visitors.”

“The development of Grange Road into a vibrant day-and-night event space will further strengthen LREIT’s presence in the Somerset area,” adds Kelvin Chow, Chief Executive Officer, Lendlease Global Commercial Trust Management Pte Ltd. “This is also a great opportunity for us to play a part in Orchard Road’s rejuvenation by injecting a live entertainment venue in a world class shopping street. We are excited to see our partnership with Live Nation and STB come to fruition when the multi-functional event space is completed.”

Local audiences will have the opportunity to engage with a variety of fresh and upcoming live music performances and cultural events within the venue’s unique performance spaces. The new venue will also host a range of meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions, and other community-focused activities for locals to enjoy.
