Few artists have bent the rules of sound and creative identity quite like Aphex Twin. Now, a new book invites fans to peel back the layers of the legendary electronic music producer’s enigmatic genius, offering a plethora of rare photos, behind-the-scenes stories and essays that illuminate the man behind the myth.

With Aphex Twin – A Disco Pogo Tribute, the boundary-breaking producer steps out of the shadows and into a lovingly crafted written and visual celebration of his influential career.

From the depths of his mysterious Cornwall roots to the heights of a creative empire, the book is a 274-page journey through the career of one of electronic music’s most pioneering and elusive figures. Edited by Disco Pogo‘s Jim Butler, the hardback tribute includes exclusive interviews, essays and rare images of Aphex Twin, whose real name is Richard David James.

The project owes much to the Disco Pogo team’s longstanding relationship with James, forged through their influential 1990s magazine Jockey Slut. With the support of Warp Records, R&S and Rephlex Records, as well as the Aphex Twin fan collective Lanner Chronicle, the book offers unparalleled insights into a career spanning over three decades.

Adding an extra layer of exclusivity, the first 5,000 copies come with an Aphex Twin sticker sheet for avid fans and collectors. Priced at $40, the book is now available for purchase through Disco Pogo‘s website.
