Our long, national nightmare is finally coming to an end. After nearly a decade away, McDonald’s announced Thursday that it plans to bring snack wraps back to its menu nationwide in 2025, and fans of the fast food giant could not be happier.

(It’s me, I am fans of the fast food giant.)

“The Snack Wrap will be back in 2025,” McDonald’s U.S. president, Joe Erlinger told “Good Morning America. “It has a cult following. I get so many emails into my inbox about this product.”

Return Of McDonald’s Snack Wraps Has Fans Overjoyed And Ready To Celebrate

McDonald’s officially discontinued the snack wrap in 2016, but it remained on the menu at some franchises through 2020. But Erlinger is right about one thing, the once-beloved menu item does have a cult following. And the response to the news of snack wraps returning showed just that.

The fanatical response to the news is well-deserved. The snack wrap is the GOAT McDonald’s menu item, and there was a time in our country where I could rely on a two crispy chicken ranch snack wrap, one medium fry order to come in clutch for me every time at $5.48.

Those days are long gone. We’ll all be lucky if the new snack wraps will even be available as some sort of two for $5 deal. But it’s a step in the right direction.

Erlinger wouldn’t say when in 2025 snack wraps are coming back.

“It will be back in 2025,” he said. .” “I’m not going to tell you exactly when in 2025 for competitive reasons.”

I’m not exactly sure how keeping fans in the dark gives you a competitive advantage. But hopefully it’s sometime soon. The country is healing, and we need snack wraps in order to work through that healing process.
