RACHAEL RAY opened up about her struggles with being in the public eye in her latest podcast episode.
The New York-based chef, 56, launched her “unscripted and raw” first podcast, I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, last month.
In her most recent episode out Tuesday, Rachael shared her feelings about fame in a sit-down with her close friend, actor Jeremy Sisto.
During the podcast, Rachael said she feels accomplished and good about herself after working all day.
“I’ve been working in kitchens off the books since I was 12,” she said,
“But since I was on my mom’s hip when I was two or three, I always feel better after a day’s work, whether it was on someone’s hip or standing next to them or washing dishes.
“I always felt good about myself if I knew I contributed in some way that day, and I learned something that day.
“It’s always been very hard for me to be noticed, which is weird.
“But to make TV or go to public things has always been very, very challenging to me and the toughest part of it.
“But I like to work. I mean, I really love it.”
HEALTH STRUGGLES
The release of the chef’s new podcast comes after Rachael sparked a series of health concerns due to her unusual behavior in new videos.
According to worried fans, the celebrity chef appeared to slur her words in a preview for an episode of Rachael Ray in Tuscany back in the late summer.
In the video, Rachael paid tribute to legendary singer Tony Bennett by sharing the recipe for his favorite dish.
But fans were sidetracked and distracted by Rachael’s behavior.
One fan said at the time that they were “seriously concerned” about the chef.
Others claimed she was just feeling upset over her friend’s death.
“She got emotional talking about her friend, is all,” another Instagram user said.

‘BAD FALLS’
Rachael has hinted at her physical and emotional struggles in recent episodes of her podcast.
She told guest Jenny Mollen last month she loves doing physical chores at the New York home she shares with husband John Cusimano- but suffered some setbacks.
“I like to help carry in the wood,” she said. “I had a couple of bad falls in the last couple of weeks so I haven’t been doing that in a while.
“I love carrying wood. How many pieces of wood did John carry? Can I carry more? I don’t say that to John, I just say that to myself.”
A few weeks later, she told guest Bob Harper that she sometimes experiences “dark days,” but her dogs make her feel better.
“It just brings you a ray of life. What it brings to a human, that unconditional love, it really gets you through dark days.
“For me, if I have the worst day, or sick as a dog, the things that makes me feel best, go home, climb into bed with a blanket with my dog!”
