No matter how dysfunctional your closet may seem, nothing is harder to organize than the kitchen. There are so many miscellaneous products you have to take into consideration, like spare dish towels, loose tea bags, seasoning packets, and awkwardly shaped Tupperware. And then there are those tight quarters in the cabinets. Fortunately, kitchen organization has gotten a whole lot easier thanks to DIYers like Emma Villaneda (@thecraftedstudioco), who comes up with genius storage hacks. In a recent TikTok clip, she shared her favorite Dollar Tree items for kitchen organization, most of which cost just $1.25.

If your Ziplock drawer has gotten out of control, opt for this five-in-one assortment pack from Dollar Tree. The $1.25 variety box comes with 220 baggies, including freezer bags, sandwich bags, snack bags, and quart- and gallon-size bags. Its slim design means you can store it in a shallow drawer without taking up much space.
“I love that you can just pop the tabs off. It’s already labeled and organized, perfect to throw in a drawer. It’s ready to go,” said Villaneda.
2. DIY hanging rack

For this Dollar Tree organizing hack, you’ll need to buy a towel bar and a mini dish rack. Per Villaneda’s instructions, you’ll want to “hang the towel bar right on the inside of your cabinet door, sliding the dish rack behind it [and] hanging it on its first divider.”
This will create a vertical organizer that’s ideal for storing spare dish towels, boxes of aluminum foil, and garbage bags.
“This is a great option for additional storage if you have limited space in your kitchen,” Villaneda told followers.

3. Reusable silicone seals

Tupperware is stackable, but their lids? Not so much. Luckily, Dollar Tree sells reusable silicone seals that act as lids but take up a small percentage of space. Villaneda said she was “really shocked” to find these. They come in a pack of three, varying in size.
“You simply just stretch them over the container you’re trying to seal,” she said in a demonstration clip. “I was very surprised at how durable they were, and it’s so great that they are reusable.”
4. Lazy Susan

You’ll find this next product in the bathroom aisle. It’s a clear acrylic rotating tray that can be used in any room of the house. Typically, you might use it to store makeup brushes and beauty products. However, Villaneda found it most helpful in the kitchen.
“I thought it would be great in the kitchen for organizing drink packets or snacks,” she explained.
The spinning organizer comes with four large compartments plus one holder in the center. It’s located in the Dollar Tree Plus section, which means you’ll have to dish out a few extra bucks at checkout.
