On Wednesday, November 13, 2024, The Disco Biscuits took their Fall Tour 2024 to the newly reopened Bearsville Theater in Woodstock, N.Y. During the band’s time in the Catskills, they unleashed a two-set performance, warping and weaving the initial four selections [“Stars in the Sky,” “Spaga,” “Why We Dance” and “In The End We Have Forever”] which bled into a dyslexic pursuit of “And the Ladies Were the Rest of the Night.”
On the other side of the set break, the Philadelphia-bred band cut into an inverted “Reactor” and then returned to the first set closer, “And the Ladies Were the Rest of the Night.” Unique treatments continued during the night’s rendition of “Home Again” and the ensuing Conspirator cover, “Orch Theme,” which eventually birthed “Story of the World.”
Following set one’s motif, the latter frame saw the band flip “Morph Dusseldorf” before the arrival of the night’s encore, which eventually rebooted the official second set closer.
