Linkin Park have released From Zero, the band’s first album in seven years, and the first since the tragic death of singer Chester Bennington. The album is available to stream below.
From Zero arrives only two months after Linkin Park announced their surprise return, unveiling a revamped lineup that includes classic members Mike Shinoda (co-vocals), Joe Hahn (turntables), and Dave “Phoenix” Farrell (bass) alongside new co-vocalist Emily Armstrong and new drummer Colin Brittain. Founding guitarist Brad Delson appears on the album, but is not touring with the band, with Alex Feder filling his shoes on the road.
The 11-song album also comes just two days after Linkin Park announced a massive 2025 world tour that includes more than 30 dates in North America. A Live Nation ticket pre-sale starts Wednesday (November 20th) at 10 a.m. local time using the code BEATS.
Regarding From Zero, Shinoda stated, “Before Linkin Park, our first band name was Xero. This album title refers to both this humble beginning and the journey we’re currently undertaking. Sonically and emotionally, it is about past, present, and future—embracing our signature sound, but new and full of life.”
He added, “It was made with a deep appreciation for our new and longtime bandmates, our friends, our family, and our fans. We are proud of what Linkin Park has become over the years, and excited about the journey ahead.”
Ahead of the release, Linkin Park unveiled the singles “The Emptiness Machine,” “Heavy Is the Crown,” “Over Each Other,” and “Two Faced.”
From Zero serves as the follow-up to 2017’s One More Light, which was released just a couple months before Bennington took his own life.
