Dwayne Johnson, AKA The Rock, is one of the most popular actors on the planet. A lot of that has to do with how often he tries to inspire and encourage others to chase their dreams the way he did.

As a result, The Rock has touched a lot of people’s hearts without him even being aware that he has done so.

That is, until he meets some of them, as he did this past week while out on the press tour for his new movie Red One.

“Ok this one got me – watch til the end,” The Rock wrote on X.

“This lovely girl was tearing up as we met, she said some beautiful things to me and asked if we could take a selfie – I said yes but first let’s take a few deep breaths together to compose ourselves a bit – we don’t want no crazy looking selfies.

“She was the absolute sweetest thing.

“And to me, these kind of interactions with people will always always always be the best part of fame.”

The Rock wasn’t done being moved by one of his young fans though. A couple of days later, he met a boy who was also very emotional. In this case, he took it as an opportunity to share a little life lesson with everyone out there.

“I’m always really moved when young boys cry in front of me,” Johnson wrote on X (Twitter). “Stops me in my tracks because, us boys never want to be emotional in front of people, let alone cry in front of grown men we look up to.

“It’s in our DNA to hide emotions, so I’m proud of this kid — keeping his composure, keeping his sense of humor, keeping his manners – all while fighting back his tears.

“Very cool to meet you, Ricky and keep working hard young man. See you at the top one day.

“And big shout to my ‘big brother,’ JK Simmons for coming over to make this kid’s day. You’re a legend.

“One day, we’ll all be working for Ricky in Hollywood.”

Good stuff.
