On Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, Lucinda Williams and her band turned up at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, N.Y. The artist used the night to work through a myriad of material that touched on select corners of the well-respected songstress’ lengthy and celebrated career.

As a focal point, Williams captivated her audiences with pulls off her latest release/15th overall album, the aptly titled Stories from a Rock n Roll Heart, while saving space to percolate picks from previous album releases, with material from Essence (2001), Car Wheels and a Gravel Road (1998), World Without Tears (2003), Down Where The Spirit Meets The Bone (2014) and The Ghost of Highway 20 (2016), taking top positions.

Adding to the nightly stacked list of high points, Williams paid respect to her longtime friend, the late Tom Petty, during the night’s rendition of “Stolen Moments.” Scroll down to view photos courtesy of photographer Dino Perrucci.
