The CoSign alums, who are known for music that blends bright energy with pointed lyricism, approached Greatest Hits less as an album and more as a collection of tracks that could all serve as singles. The music video for “Big Butt” which features creative direction from San Yawn, the founder and executive producer of the group, who was most recently an integral part of the sophomore solo project from RM of BTS. According to a statement, the visual serves as an homage to the fuzzy boy band music videos of the ’90s “that influenced the group.”
Elsewhere in the EP, Balming Tiger navigate the double-edged sword of ambition on the upbeat “Cunning City” and unravel materialism on “Spirit Chaebol.” “I’m to anxious to live life/ I’m too arrogant to embrace death,” Omega Sapien says.
To celebrate the release, the group has planned out two hometown shows at the Nodeul Island Live House in Seoul on November 2nd and 3rd.
