The Houston hottie looked absolutely stunning at the premiere of her documentary, Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words. The rapper hit the red carpet on Wednesday night, showing off her curves in a plunging purple gown while waving to cameras at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

During her time walking down the red carpet, she took a moment to pose with Nneka Onuorah, the documentary’s director, who wore a pantsuit that she accessorized with lots of diamond jewelry.

The film shows fans a behind-the-scenes look at Megan’s rise to fame, going all the way back to her 2019 breakout single, “Big Ole Freak.” It also provides some new insight into her life during the trial and the media frenzy surrounding the Tory Lanez shooting.

Megan gave a speech at the premiere, thanking her fanbase of “Hotties” for always standing beside her. She also gave a special shoutout to her late parents, Holly Thomas and Joseph Pete, Jr., insisting she would never be the woman she is today without her mom, who died from cancer in 2019.

“[There’s] so many people up in here,” the rapper said. “It is blowing my mind how many Hotties are up here right now… Goddamn, I can’t believe I started crying.”

She continued, “I want to thank each and every one of you for coming to the premiere of my documentary. Your support means the world to me. And this process has been years in the making.”

Megan went on to note that despite her mother always telling her “not to tell my own business,” she did it anyway, since this was the “perfect opportunity.”

“I wouldn’t be the woman I am today without Holly Thomas,” she said. “So mommy, I love you.”

“To have somebody follow you around all day, every day, and recording your most intimate moments, even when you don’t want them to, has been such an insane experience,” she said about making the doc, even saying Onuorah would pull out her phone when she would tell her to “cut the cameras.”

Meg thanked the filmmaker for keeping the documentary true to her own story, saying it’s helped to show who she is both as a person and an artist.

“I started to watch a lot of people dehumanize me and a lot of people were trying to take control of my narrative and tell my story, so that’s why I even agreed to do the documentary in the first place,” That rapper explained. “I was like, ‘You know what, b***h? Let me just go ahead and tell my truth and lay it out on the table because y’all don’t respect s*** else, but raw and honesty.”

Megan Thee Stallion: In Her Words premieres on Prime Video on Thursday, Oct. 31.
