A prolific Loch Ness Monster investigator has once again captured footage from a webcam overlooking the Scottish waters that he believes contains proof that the creature is alive and well and still very active.
Eoin O’Faodhagain, who has reported more than two dozen sightings of the Loch Ness Monster over the years, made his latest observation on Oct. 25 using a Visit Inverness Loch Ness webcam. The Visit Inverness Loch Ness has multiple webcams scanning the waters including one at the Airanloch B&B, the Pinewood Steading, and Shoreland Lodges, in addition to the Clansman Hotel, where this latest sighting came.
“25 foot monster captured on VILN Clansman webcam swimming by the Clansman, Loch Ness, on the 25/10/2024 at 13.25pm, against the current,” O’Faodhagain writes in the video’s description.
“After one minute it slowly submerges while heading north down the middle of the Loch over a half a mile away from the webcam.
“Very similar to sighting of the 9th of July which was then close to the shore at the Clansman, but this time seems to be much bigger in length.
“It moves serpentine/eel like, and not like a large fish or seal.”
On July 9th, Eoin O’Faodhagain captured footage from the Visit Inverness Loch Ness webcam at the Clansman Hotel which he believed showed “visually clear” evidence of the Loch Ness Monster.
“I noticed two dark shapes moving in sequence with each other about 100 yards out into Loch Ness,” he said at the time.
“My heart jumped and I was astonished at the length of what was coming into view. I thought this is truly an interesting and intriguing sighting, and visually clear.”
O’Faodhagain continued describing the sighting, explaining, “There are no known creatures in Loch Ness that are as large as 16 to 18 feet long. I am not given the impression it’s a fish species.
“And I imagine an eel – even a giant one – would be more flexible and wriggly, but this creature is more rigidly moving. That is why I think there is a lot more body underneath supporting it.”
Following that particular sighting, O’Faodhagain proclaimed, “I think it could be Nessie – ruling out all other known creatures because of size.”
He also believes that it is possible that there is more than one Loch Ness Monster in the fabled Scottish waters based on other sightings he has recorded.
Perhaps there are, and they are just visiting from another universe or dimension, explaining why it has been so hard to officially identify since it was first reported being seen way back in the sixth century.
