Folks stuck in traffic near Black Canyon City north of Phoenix were dealt a surprised when a man dressed up in a realistic Michael Myers Halloween costume came up to car windows and startled everyone as they sat there stuck in their cars.
Frankly, I’m shocked that this all ended with people laughing about it. Arizona is an open carry state but this wasn’t even out in public, people were in their cars and miserable from sitting in traffic. It’s sad that this is the reality of life, but things could have easily gone south if the wrong person got spooked.
However, all’s well that ends well and video of the life-like Michael Myers Halloween guy was shared by Ryan Blauvelt to a Facebook group and that video has since gone viral. It got picked up by FOX 10 Phoenix:
It’s hard to deny how hard that Halloween track goes… Definitely has a club track feel to it.
In the initial Facebook Group post, Blauvelt wrote “This afternoon traffic was parked on the 17 for 2+ hours. I saw Michael Myers running around and decided to blast the Halloween theme song. He fell into character and made the wait more fun. If anyone knows who this was feel free to forward to him or tag him.”
Again, with people stuck in traffic for 2+ hours it is hard to fathom how anyone had a sense of humor. But it is reassuring to know everyone did!
