Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard recently shared how he and his costars had a scary paranormal encounter during the filming of the horror movie It.

“I’ve been in a lot of supernatural movies and TV shows, but ironically, I’ve never really seen a full-on ghost,” Wolfhard revealed to People magazine.

He’s not wrong there. Between appearing in Stranger Things, Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, and It, a a two-part adaptation of the 1986 Stephen King novel, Finn Wolfhard has certainly experienced his fair share of faux supernatural terror.

“But there was a time when I was a kid shooting It in this abandoned mansion in Toronto, and me and a bunch of the other cast were exploring the floors,” he continued.

“We went up to the top floor and there was one room where we saw a guy in black just kind of doing electrician work, and we were just like, ‘Okay, that’s just a crew member.

“But then later, we found out that no one knew who that was, and no one ever saw him again.

“It could have been someone just messing around, but, yeah, it was pretty scary.”

Yes, because dressing up in black and doing some electrical work is definitely the most common way to scare someone in an abandoned mansion, right?

Finn Wolfhard returns as Mike Wheeler in the fifth and final season of Stranger Things which will air on Netflix… sometime in 2025, we think.

In the meantime, he will appear in the film Saturday Night, about the night of the 1975 premiere of the NBC sketch comedy variety show that would go on to be known as Saturday Night Live.

The now 21-year-old will also be seen in the upcoming fantasy film The Legend of Ochi, also starring Helena Zengel, Emily Watson, and Willem Dafoe.
