CrossFit Athlete Becca Voigt Miller in Two-Piece Workout Gear Shares "Community Workouts"

Becca Voigt Miller is demonstrating her passion and dedication to fitness in a recent Instagram post. The accomplished CrossFit athlete shared a video from a group workout session, completing the challenging “C” Community Workouts by Rogue Fitness. The session involved a vigorous routine of 10 rounds, consisting of power cleans, push jerks, and clean & jerks. This showcase of strength and endurance not only highlights Miller’s commitment to maintaining peak physical condition but also her enjoyment of participating in community fitness events. Her post, filled with energy and camaraderie, inspires followers to embrace physical challenges and emphasizes the fun and collaborative spirit of CrossFit.

In her Instagram video, Miller is seen using weights to workout. ACE Fitness states that doing this has a lot of benefits. “Strength training with heavy weights improves muscle definition. Muscle definition occurs as the result of muscles remaining in a state of semi-contraction and heavy strength training recruits the larger type II muscle fibers responsible for a muscle’s appearance.”

One workout with weights that Miller enjoys doing is squats. She shared this video on Instagram of herself doing them with a dumbbell. Miller captioned the post, “Just try new things.” Allina Health states that squats have a lot of benefits. “The squat is one of the all-around best exercises to do for your lower body. It strengthens and tones muscles in your thighs, butt and calves and improves posture, balance, flexibility and inner core strength. Squatting also improves bone mineral density to keep your bones strong.”

Miller shared some of her favorite workouts in this Instagram post. In it, she is seen jumping rope. Piedmont reports that jumping rope has a lot of benefits. “It’s an amazing total body exercise that engages all of the major muscle groups,” says Clinton Maclin, ACSM CEP-CPO, an exercise physiologist and safety coach at Piedmont Atlanta Fitness Center.  “You can use it to warm up or as a stand-alone exercise, and it incorporates cardiovascular exercise and resistance training.”

Miller likes to run to stay in shape. Sometimes, she will bring her dog along with her. Miller shared this video on Instagram of herself running with her pup. She captioned the post, “Had sprints in my @prvnfitness training today so I decided to bring Cash dog along. I wish I could say he slowed me down but I think I slowed him down! Loved getting outdoors and running!”

Miller makes sure to do ab workouts. She even has an Instagram story highlight dedicated to doing a set of them each day. The Mayo Clinic states that ab workouts are very important. “Core-strength exercises strengthen the core muscles. Core muscles include the abdominal muscles, back muscles and the muscles around the pelvis. Strong core muscles make it easier to do many physical activities.”
