Shows:

Plenty of classic films provide the foundation for Halloween watches and rewatches each year, but 2024 has seen some new material added to the catalogue like Marvel’s Agatha All Along and Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place reboot: Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.

Agatha All Along follows Kathryn Hahn’s Marvel character from WandaVision as she assembles a coven with the help of Joe Locke’s mysterious Teen (who turns out to be a major character) to walk The Witches’ Road. There’s a catchy ballad that goes along with all the trials in the show, and there are two more episodes arriving next week on Disney+ the day before Halloween.

Wizards Beyond Waverly Place premieres Oct. 29 on Disney+ with a batch of eight episodes. Selena Gomez and David Henrie from the original Disney Channel series will appear in the sequel show.

Paramount+ has shows that tie in with spooky season in recent years include School Spirits as well as Ghosts from CBS.

CBS original shows such as NCIS, The Price Is Right, Let’s Make a Deal, The Talk, The Bold and the Beautiful and Elsbeth among others will have Halloween-themed episodes the week of the holiday.
