Ghost’s RITE HERE RITE NOW on Blu-Ray, DVD, and VHS

Ghost‘s feature-length concert film RITE HERE RITE NOW is receiving a home video release on Blu-Ray, DVD, and VHS on December 6th.

The film is arriving on physical formats “by popular demand,” according to the band, with a 4K Blu-Ray ($24.98), standard Blu-Ray ($20), DVD ($17), and VHS release ($34.99) on the way. The Blu-Ray and DVD versions include the following bonus content: a Q&A session with Ghost mastermind Tobias Forge, co-director Alex Ross Perry, and live director Jim Parsons; the animated music video for “The Future Is a Foreign Land;” and Ghost’s webisode series (Chapters 1-28).

Meanwhile, a standalone digital release via iTunes and Amazon is set for October 28th. RITE HERE RITE NOW can also be streamed via VEEPS, including the aforementioned Q&A session with Forge, Perry, and Parsons that was filmed during the movie’s London premiere.

The 145-minute film combines a concert performance shot at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum with narrative scenes based on plot points from the band’s “Chapters” webisode series, “featuring familiar faces interacting behind the scenes with Ghost’s Papa IV, as his future and fate rest with the Ministry,” according to the band’s press release.

During its theatrical run, RITE HERE RITE NOW proved to be an overwhelming and record-breaking success for Ghost.

After premiering in theaters across the world in late June, the movie set a record for a limited hard-rock cinematic event with $2.65 million at the box office in North America alone. Overall, it raked in roughly $5 million during its worldwide release, with additional screenings added due to high demand.

You can pre-order RITE HERE RITE NOW on 4K Blu-Ray/Blu-Ray/DVD via Amazon, and you can pre-order the VHS via Loma Vista Recordings.
