Prime Video will soon bring viewers into some of the most famous and popular video game worlds ever created. The streamer’s upcoming adult-animated anthology series Secret Level will feature original stories set inside beloved video game worlds. And when fans arrive, some of the most famous names in Hollywood will be there to greet them. Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio announced the show’s season one cast during its New York Comic Con 2024 panel. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Keanu Reeves headline an all-star lineup of performers to comprise the cast of Prime Video’s Secret Level.
Secret Level comes from creator and executive producer Tim Miller and his team behind Netflix’s own adult-animated anthology series LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS. Prime Video says its new show is “a celebration of games and gamers.” Now we know it will also be a celebration of incredibly talented performers. Amazon announced the cast for season one and it is absolutely loaded.
In addition Arnold Schwarzenegger and Reeves the show will also feature: Kevin Hart (Jumanji) and his daughter Heaven, Temuera Morrison (The Book of Boba Fett), Ariana Greenblatt (Barbie), Emily Swallow (The Mandalorian), Gabriel Luna (The Last of Us), Ricky Whittle (American Gods), Patrick Schwarzenegger (The White Lotus), Merle Dandridge (The Last of Us), Claudia Doumit (The Boys), Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Lost), Clive Standen (The Morning Show), Laura Bailey (The Legend of Vox Machina), and Michael Beach (The Perfect Couple, Tulsa King).
The 15-episode first season will debut at Prime Video later this year. It premieres on December 10. Amazon previously announced which video game properties fans can expect to visit when it does. They include Armored Core, Concord, Crossfire, Dungeons & Dragons, Exodus, Honor of Kings, Mega Man, New World: Aeternum, PAC-MAN, various PlayStation Studios games, Sifu, Spelunky, The Outer Worlds, Unreal Tournament, and Warhammer 40,000.
With a lineup of game that could Prime Video had to get a cast to match. And they certainly did.
