Ben Affleck is apparently going through a post-breakup glow-up that has his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez feeling some type of way.
Affleck and Lopez, who first dated in the early 2000s, rekindled their romance in the 2020s and got married in July 2022 before filing for divorce in August of this year.
Since their divorce, Affleck has reportedly started taking better care of himself, which is a development that has Lopez so mad she’s “seeing red.”
“Ben is suddenly going out of his way to pamper himself and look his absolute best. He’s dying his hair, getting manicures and pedicures, waxing, and even seeing a dermatologist for skin treatments,” an alleged inside source told InTouch Weekly.
“His diet’s cleaner now. He’s cut out a lot of junk food… As you can imagine, J. Lo is seeing red because these are all the things she wanted him to do when they were together and he totally refused.”
The inside source said it feels like a “slap in the face” to Lopez because Affleck was apparently a “slob” for much of their marriage, citing how he’d often be seen looking scruffy and carrying either Dunkin Donuts, a cigarette, or both.
“It feels like a total slap in the face because it’s sending this message that she wasn’t worth making these changes for, but now that he’s single and looking to impress new women, he’s willing to step it up and stop being such a slob,” the insider added.
As for Lopez’s newfound post-divorce life, recent reports indicate that she’s gotten back in touch with Drake, who reportedly reached out to her as soon as she filed for divorce in late August. Drake and J. Lo were previously linked in 2016 and 2017, prior to Lopez’s engagement to Alex Rodriguez.
Lopez’s next film, the Anthony Robles biopic Unstoppable which will be released later this year, was produced by Affleck’s production company Artists Equity, which he co-founded with Matt Damon.
