Resolve have shared dark, haunting single ‘Sandman’, taken from their forthcoming album ‘Human (Extended Cut)’.
Following recent single ‘Molotov’, it’s the second track to be taken from the album’s extended cut.
Speaking on ‘Sandman’, bassist Robin Mariat has shared:
“Some months ago, Anthony (Resolve’s lead singer and songwriter) went through an episode of sleep paralysis. If you’re lucky enough to have never experienced it, imagine waking up in the dead of night with a terrifying figure looking over you, and being unable to move or ask for help.
“The next day, Anthony came up with the demo for Sandman – originally named Sleep Paralysis. That probably explains the nightmarish vibe of the track. The choruses though, are epic and hopeful, a reminder that even in the darkest moments of our lives, there will always be something or someone to lift us up and bring us back into the light.”
