As previously reported the Peacock series returned on Sunday, Oct. 6 with three new celebrity queens; LisaRaye, K. Michelle. and London “Deelishis” Charles. The trio is seen rifling through 22 potential partners in an unconventional way with help from Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete.

For London a.k.a. Deelishis, viewers are seeing her show up as her true self in her rawest form. The Flavor Of Love alumna told BOSSIP that her Queens Court journey came amid two tremendous losses; her marriage to Raymond Santana in 2022 and the loss of her niece exactly one year later at a mass shooting at Michigan State.

Both events left her vulnerable and heartbroken, but some choice words from Queens Court producer Will Packer, motivated her to try to find love in the process that he hoped would “blossom” her and help her rediscover strength and love—whether in a partner or within herself.

“Life without love is almost like death,” she recalled the super producer telling her. “I love love,” she added. “I wanted to live again and I love, love. If I marry today and divorce the next, I will still go after love the following week because I’m a lover like that.”

The star has been unabashed on the series and openly discusses the vulnerable state she was in after splitting from Raymond Santana of the Exonerated Five.

“I caught myself being quiet [about my divorce], thinking that it would all go away,” she told BOSSIP’s Managing Editor Dani Canada. “I understand being a public figure, people are gonna tell your story whether it’s true or not, whether they know or not. That’s just the way of the world, unfortunately.”

“So it was hard at first to talk about it, but it was necessary,” she added. “And I knew that my daughters were watching me, not necessarily on the show, but just in life. My oldest daughter is 25 now. And my youngest is 14. So when that happened, that was at an age where I couldn’t hide that from them. So if anybody was going to see me come out of this as strong as possible, I needed them to see it.”

While making sure she represented herself positively, the reality star told BOSSIP that it was equally important to find someone who caught her eye for more than just their looks as she’s attracted to a man’s mind first.

“I’m a sapiosexual,” Deelishis told BOSSIP. “So if you give have a good conversation with me and it be authentic and you have something worthy of talking about, I’m like drawn in. I don’t know if it’s a good or a bad thing,” she added with a laugh.

“But it wasn’t necessarily a look,” she added when asked what traits she was seeking in Queens Court suitors. “I mean Flavor Flav and Raymond Santana do not look alike. So I don’t have a physical type. It’s more of a connection thing.”

As for dating the same men as her fellow queens LisaRaye and K. Michelle, Deelishis told BOSSIP that she didn’t want a potentially messy situation to become even messier, so she remained respectful.

“[It was] very awkward,” said Deelishis. “Because you want to take advantage of the process because there’s a benefit at the end, you’re not just doing this for TV or entertainment. You’re learning some things about yourself and you’re hoping to find love. But you also want to respect your sister Queens.”

“I’m not a messy girl, I’m a lover girl and I’m a girl’s girl, so that was difficult,” she added. “And I said, “Okay, production knew what they were doing.” They said, “We’re gonna put three bombshells together. So I’m like, ‘Yeah, this is gonna be hard’  I don’t wanna step on anybody’s toes, but at the same time, I don’t wanna miss out on the opportunity to get to know this gentleman who might be my person.”
