The Used‘s Bert McCracken has announced his self-titled debut solo album under the moniker robbietheused, as well as a short Fall 2024 US tour.
The 12-track LP arrives on October 25th, just days before the tour kicks off on October 30th in Anaheim, California.

McCracken will play five robbietheused shows in total on the trek, including dates in Los Angeles (October 31st), Philadelphia (November 3rd), New York City (November 4th), and Asbury, New Jersey (November 6th). General ticket sales are ongoing via Ticketmaster.
“Any feeling is valid — and to be able to put it to song is incredible,” McCracken said via a press release. “And there’s so much room in this world for positivity. I want this music to show that there’s room for love. There’s room for growth. There’s room for redemption. There’s so many good people — and so many good things happening.”
Two singles have been released from robbietheused debut so far, including the opening and closing tracks “Terrible” and “The Feels,” respectively.
The album was produced by McCracken’s longtime colleague John Feldmann and saw the duo “holed up in the studio for intense, week-long studio sessions” and recording “one song every day, without fail.”
“John Feldmann is a wizard,” McCracken said. “He can make anything and he’s so easy to work with. He’s the hardest working man I know in the music industry. There’s no drama recording with him. It was a smooth process—just like making a Used record.”
He continued: “In the morning, we’d talk about how we’re feeling and what’s on our minds on that day. And ask, ‘How’s the mental health? How’s the vibes?’ And then we’d formulate a song around that. It was almost like a therapy session, where I’d really get to talk about anything that’s on my mind, and then make a song about it.”
