David Shaw releases new single ‘When You Love Somebody’ alongside second solo album

The Revivalists frontman David Shaw has unveiled his second solo album, Take A Look Inside, featuring the deeply personal and catchy new single, ‘When You Love Somebody.’ The song arrives with an official music video directed by Texas-based graphic designer Andrew Knives.
Born out of Shaw’s own relationship struggles, ‘When You Love Somebody’ explores the complexities of love. The track encapsulates the paradox of loving deeply yet hurting the ones closest to us. Shaw describes love as a force that can lift you up or pull you down, sharing, “We tend to hurt the ones we love the most because we think they’re always going to be there… Love is tough, man.”
