The musician, who lived in Las Vegas, Nevada, was famous for his longtime social media presence and his viral single, “I Just Wanna,” released in 2016.

Just hours before his death, Coly tragically posted an orange love heart emoji on his Instagram story saying, “I love y’all.”

His manager, I Discover Stars, shared news of his death in a since-deleted post on social media saying, “Rest in peace @iamlucascoly I love you bro. My heart is ripped in half. Wait for me up there.”

“Being your manager was one of the reasons I stayed here. There’s a hole in my heart right now Lucas. We used to speak on our struggles all the time but smile for the fans.

“So many people hurt us again and again but we had each other. I don’t know what to do now. I’d be a hypocrite if I told you not to, and I go and do the same.”

“Pray for Amber y’all,” he added, referencing Coly’s girlfriend Amber Harrison.

His manager has since deleted the statements and edited a picture of him and Lucas together to just say “My brother.”

Coly and Amber rose to fame with their joint YouTube account, which hasn’t been updated in two years.

LAST CALL

In his heartbreaking tribute, Coly’s manager revealed he spoke with Coly before his death.

He said: “And for those wondering how I know if it’s true…. 1) I was his longtime manager and 2) because I was on the phone with him moments before.

He went on to say that Coly was “more of a brother” than one of his clients.

The manager also asked fans to respect Amber’s privacy, writing, “Please give her time to process and heal.”

On Instagram, he pleaded with his viewers to always check on their friends and expressed regret that he didn’t “do more” to help Coly when he was struggling.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office confirmed to The U.S. Sun that Coly died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Amber posted on Instagram late Thursday night to thank her friends for sending her flowers.

She shared one of Coly’s songs and begged fans to “leave her alone” and “let him rest.”

VINE STAR

The rapper was born in France and moved to the US when he was eight years old and used the language in his songs.

He was known for posting comedy videos and clips of his music on the former app Vine.

In 2017, he told DJ Small Eyez in an interview: “I’m looking forward to making more music with French in it. I feel like that’ll expand.

“I got French fans, I got fans—of course—in other countries, so I got to come home now.”
